Blue and White Baby Blanket
We are no longer able to give the baby blankets away at
the hospital but some doctors take them for the new babies.
Can't give them out at the hospital because they are from a church.
I ran out of yarn and only had one more square to make.
I found a blue in my scraps that matched pretty close so I
used that color and weaved it with white.
You can see the difference but over all I think it matches pretty good.
The yarn I used is Caron Simply Soft
Color - White and Royal Blue Marl
There are 70 weave-it squares in the blanket.

Beautiful
ReplyDeletelove this color combo, Karen♥ I crochet hats and scarves for a local homeless project and enjoy using up my leftover yarn scraps!
ReplyDeleteI love that you managed to make the last square work with yarn from your scraps. The slight difference in blue honestly gives the blanket a bit of character, and with 70 squares, that is a lot of work and patience going into something made for a little baby. It is a shame the blankets can no longer be given directly to the hospital because they come from a church, but it is lovely that some doctors are still able to take them for new babies.
ReplyDeleteWe truly need to pray for our country, a country that was founded on Christianity should not have Christian churches discriminated.
ReplyDeleteThat does look lovely.
