Shawl

 Juniper Shawl

Second photo is a truer color

Knitted shawl on size 9 needles.
Used circular needle because of all the stitches.
You start with just 2 stitches and add one stitch every other row until there are 185 stitches on the needle.
Then bind off.

I ran out of yarn so this one is just 171 stitches.
The yarn I used is Lion Brand Fair Isle Wool Ease
Color is Denim/Lilac
Used two skeins

It is easy and fun to knit.

    1. I got the pattern at Hershner's. Every Friday they give you a free pattern on their website that you can download. The yarn I used makes it's own pattern as you knit.

  3. This shawl turned out beautifully. I love that it begins so simply with just two stitches and grows steadily row by row. There is something very satisfying about that kind of pattern. The Denim and Lilac tones sound lovely together, and even at 171 stitches it must drape nicely. Thank you for sharing the details, it is always encouraging to see a project that is both simple and rewarding.
