Finished a baby blanket made out of weave-it squares.
The yarn used was Caron Simply Soft.
Haven't made one for a couple of months because we had an over supply of them when we couldn't give them out at the hospital.
But now that we have the doctors office giving them out we are up and running again.
I like it. 🙂
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you have some place that wants them. I think any baby that receives one is so blessed. I like this, as is usual.
ReplyDeleteYou can always donate blankets to Project Linus, Karen. You can Google as to where there is a donation site in your area. Every newborn needs a new blanket♥
ReplyDeleteYes, that is a good idea.🙂
DeleteThe blankets me and other ladies of my church make go to local people and is a Ministry. It is a way to invite people to our church if they don't have one of their own. Each baby get a gift bag with a blanket, and a few other goodies. An invitation to our church is included as well as Gospel tract.🙂
SO pretty. I love how colorful it is. I'm so thankful for the way the Lord worked it out that your church ladies can still do this wonderful ministry.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful baby blanket! You did an awesome job. Janice
ReplyDeleteI know new mamas are proud to see this, especially with your winter already there. Sending the best your way and we are trying to walk a little more down here, but
ReplyDeleteSherry's hips and legs are giving her a fit. Love to you and Hugs to the retiree!
